Opportunities to support your local church

Last year, your support enabled us to:

Conduct 13 baptisms, 3 weddings, 22 funerals, 11 interments of ashes and a wide range of services of worship on every Sunday and most Thursdays.
Deliver the Diocesan ‘Rhythm of Life’ Lent Course, and the Pilgrim Course (looking in turn at the Baptism declarations and then the Lord’s Prayer).
Repair and maintain your beautiful place of worship and our Church Hall which is used by a wide range of Church groups and non Church groups
Run a variety of groups that benefit the local community and support community groups and stakeholders, proclaiming the Good News in word and deed
Maintain our Churchyard, a place of peace and comfort for those who have lost loved ones.

To allow this to happen requires funding to support mission, ministry and maintenance. Your support can help all of this to continue and help our local parish Church to make a difference in our community.

Support St Michael's Church by giving of your time and talents

There are various opportunities for volunteers to support the local church. We have teams of dedicated volunteers who would welcome new helpers. Opportunities include:

Helping the team of "Grasshoppers" who tend and care for the Churchyard, maintaining the place of peace, comfort and tranquillity enjoyed by all
Helping the cleaning team who keep the Church and Church Hall buildings clean and tidy
Helping at Community events organised by the Church
