St Michael's is a very popular Church for weddings. We are blessed to be able to offer bell-ringing, a choir and can arrange for an organist if required. We typically arrange 3 wedding preparation sessions with each couple. These sessions include running through the details of the service, discussing marriage from a Christian perspective, and including some helpful anecdotes. The sessions provide an ideal opportunity to get to know the wedding couple, so again the service can be very personal to you.

For people to get married at St Michael's, they need to be resident in the parish or have a "qualifying connection", which is something that can be discussed at the point of initial enquiry. If either the bride or groom to be are resident in another parish, then Banns of Marriage will also need to be published in that parish as well as at St Michaels.
