Our Vision

St Michael's Church seeks to proclaim the transforming power of God’s love in words and actions.

We embrace the Diocesan Vision and Strategy of Confident Christians, Transforming Communities, and Growing Churches. This is characterised by loving, living and learning - enabled by lay and clergy working together, through dynamic partnerships and purposeful resourcing.

Our vision is to proclaim the transforming power and Good News of God’s love in words and actions through prayer, loving fellowship, welcome and nurture as together we seek to grow as disciples of Christ.

Our mission is for St Michael’s to become a place of transformation and renewal where people can encounter the love and grace of God as they grow as disciples and as part of our Church family. We aim to be a focal point for the wider parish as we seek to implement pathways into fellowship and community through the use of our Church Hall and our social events. We will be a Church for all, in every season of life. We will foster a culture of welcome, invitation and opportunity where people begin to realise their potential in Christ.
