Revd Mark trained at St John's Theological College in Nottingham, did his curacy in the Diocese of Chester, and has worked in a variety of posts in the Diocese of Leeds ever since. Revd Mark was appointed as our Interim Priest in Charge in January 2021, and subsequently appointed as our Priest in Charge in January 2024. Kath is currently our only Churchwarden, a role in which the person is the leading lay member of the Church and the Bishop's Appointed Officer. Kath is part of the core leadership team of St Michael's and is well versed in all Church matters, whether relating to the building or various groups that form part of Church life. As well as being a member of our core leadership team, Ali is also the Sunday School Coordinator, part of the Baptism Preparation team, our Parish Safeguarding Officer and is our licenced Lay Worship Leader. Hannah is our Parish Administrator with responsibility for ordering Church supplies, updating our noticeboards, updating our weekly noticesheet, taking and issuing minutes at PCC and Standing Commitee meetings and general Church administration. Tricia is our Church Treasurer who exercises stewardship of our Church finances for and on behalf of the Parochial Church Council (PCC). Tricia issues our annual financial report in accordance with requirements of the Charities Commission.
