The Praise Group meets on Thursday evenings at 8:00pm. We meet in turn - fortnightly - at members homes. We sing our favourite hymns and learn new ones. Our meetings are a quiet, prayerful time when we share each others' joys and sorrows. We like to feel that we meet for fun and fellowship and God is always in our midst. The meetings are Ecumenical and last about one-and-a-half hours. We finish with refreshments. If you wish to join the group please contact John or Wendy on 0113 2532796.

Julian Group the first meeting of this group took place on 22nd June and will now meet regularly. The prayer group is based on Julian of Norwich and involves 30 minutes of silence. If you would like to know more about this type of of pryaer meeting, please contact Angela Coggins 01924 822184
Co-workers of Mother Teresa . . . meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Church Hall. Following the example of Mother Teresa we help the poorest of the poor. We make woolen blankets, cot sheets, baby clothes, jumpers and cardigans and despatch them via the charity 'Feed the Children'. We are always grateful for wool, cotton material and sheets; also help is always needed by knitters, crocheters and 'sewers up' of blankets squares. Our group is 21 years old in Feb. 2009. Since then we have sent over 500 sacks of items to India, Africa, Afghanistan and other places when emergencies have occured. The work is still as essential as ever so please join us if you can.
