Thanks to those who have supported the church Gift Day, so far £1,474 has been donated with tax still to come back. There is still time to make your offering.

Transforming Lives On Sunday 11th October there was a short presentation about the Transforming Lives draft plan for the church which is being submitted to the diocese. We also heard the draft proposals for the kitchen and toilet areas at the back of the church building.

Barn Dance - on Friday 23rd October from 7:00pm. Tickets include food and are £5 adult and children £2.

Sunday 1st November at 6:00pm - there is an 'All Souls' service to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Again if you have people to remember please pass their names onto the Vicar or you can place them on a list at the back of church

East Ardsley Flower Club Christmas Fair - St Michael's Church Hall on Saturday 7th November from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Hot lunches and all-day refreshments are available.

Sunday 8th November at 10:00am - Ardsley British Legion will be joining us for our annual remembrance day service. We shall also be observing a two minute silence at 11:00am at the War memorial at the end of the 10:00 communion service

Church Path - this worknew path viewed from gate is finished and a very good Job has been done. To help us pay the bill, there is an opportunity to sponsor a foot of the path for £2. The total length is 210 feet, so if we manage to sponsor the path it will raise £420 towards the bill. Please see Malcolm or Mavis to add your name onto the plan.

Re-roofing of St Michael's Church Work has begun to re-roof the north aisle St Michael's showing north aisle and undertake other repairs on the chancel and nave roofs. when this is complete the scaffold will move down to the south aisle for this to be re-roofed. the work is expected to take in the order of 4 months and cost in the region of £50,000 - £55,000.

St Michaels's Bookshop Craig and Hayley Bardy run the bookshop in partnership with Wesley Owen. The bookshop is at the back of church, but orders can be placed with Craig or Hayley for anything specific you may wish to purchase.

We are putting together a lending library at the back of church. This will include books, DVDs, tapes, music tapes etc. for people to loan.
