Calling you budding Poirot's and Lewis', the Murder Mystery Evening has been postponed until the autumn. Watch this space for a new white line to be drawn on the claendar. Calling you Sunday morning intercessors, Marlene will be running a workshop on Wednesday 4th August at 7:00pm in church. It is an opportunity to share and look at how to develop and improve the way we lead intercessions A Letter of thanks has been received by the Mara committee for a donation of £156.32 to Mara in Tanzania which was raised at our confirmation service in April. Plus over £300 was sent from the church for the project "Lab for Lent". The latest church magazine is now out - thanks to Malcolm Rennison for putting it together and getting it published. Cursillo - well you have heard the Vicar and Debbie talk about Cursillo, but there's nothing quite like going on the course yourself. The next one for the diocese is 28th - 31st October 2010. If you would like to consider what's involved and take a booking form, please contact the Vicar. There are only two per year, so they don't come around too often. Wydale Hall Weekend - March 18th/20th 2011 Despite being nearly a year away we are planning the next weekend of fellowship at Wydale Hall near Scarborough. Such is the popularity of the venue that they only have 4 weekends left in 2011 and we have ahold on the above date. The cost is £110 for full board from Fri eve to Sunday lunch. The programme will be varied and one can dip in and out as you wish. If you are interested, please contact John for further details. At present a deposit of £22 will be required Flower List: from July 11th - Irene B; from 25th July - Mavis R. Thanks. St Michaels's Bookshop Craig and Hayley Bardy run the bookshop. The bookshop is at the back of church, but orders can be placed with Craig or Hayley for anything specific you may wish to purchase. We are putting together a lending library at the back of church. This will include books, DVDs, tapes, music tapes etc. for people to loan. With regards to the re-ordering - the plans took a huge step
forward recently with the Archdeacon paying us a visit and being extremely pleased with the proposals. The Victorian Society have
raised no objections to our proposals.
